Nithyananda Yoga℠ is the revival of the original Yoga revealed and gifted to the world by Living Avatar, Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, not as a physical exercise but as a clear path to manifest yogic powers. With 10 million followers from more than 50 countries worldwide, His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, is pioneering a much needed movement within the yoga community.  

Nithyananda Yoga℠ is all about experiencing, expressing and manifesting the state, space, powers and glory of Sadashiva through the most ancient and authentic practices of yoga. This 'style' of yoga develops all the qualities of a yogic body: power, stamina, flexibility, health and energy in order to hold and radiate the intense space of enlightenment.  


DURATION & DATES: 21-day course totalling 300+ hours of classes, practice and training times. Plan to arrive 1-day in advance, and schedule to depart one day after the program ends.  

PRE-REQUISITES: No yoga background necessary 16+ Must be physically and emotionally stable for all personal transformation that will occur during the program. Sincerity to being a yoga acharya, and having integrity to maintaining the authenticity of Yoga.

THE NITHYANANDA SANGHA: His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda and his Sangha (spiritual community) around the globe are serving humanity by reviving the science of Completion, science of Enlightenment and the science of manifesting extraordinary spiritual powers (shaktis) as per the Vedic Agamic tradition of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. He is the author of 300 books, which are translated and published in 500 titles and various international languages. His Sangha has a strong presence worldwide through numerous Temples, Adheenams (Temple monastery complex), Gurukuls (Vedic schools), universities, goshalas (cow shelters) established by Him. His live Satsangs (spiritual discourses) are viewed every morning (8am IST) by people from all countries around the world.  

HOW DO I REGISTER? Currently, we are only accepting bank transfers for tuition payments. If you are interested in making a partial or full payment please contact lead of Nithyananda Yoga programs Ma Nithya Prasiddhananda at ma.prasiddha@innerawakening.org. Program fee is all-inclusive, with pure vegetarian sattvic meals, training materials and accommodation. Note that transportation to Bidadi is the participant’s responsibility.  

HOW PROFICIENT IN YOGA SHOULD I BE TO ATTEND? We accept all levels of proficiency. However, it would be beneficial if you've practiced Yoga for at least 6-months as this is a high-intensity program!

LAST DATE TO REGISTER? If you qualify for the training based on the above criteria, you can participate in the training as long as you have paid the full tuition before the start of the program.  

DOES EVERYONE RECEIVE CERTIFICATION? Everyone who completes the full curriculum for the program and successfully passes all examinations, living and radiating the space of Nithyananda Yoga, will receive the title of Nithyananda Yoga Acharya and a certificate from Nithyananda University. This being said, not everyone does pass if they do not meet basic course hours & requirements.

IS THIS PROGRAM YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED? Nithyananda Yoga teacher training meets the highest standards of Yoga Alliance. However, since Yoga Alliance is limiting in standardizng the authenticity of Yoga, Nithyananda Yoga chooses to be recognized by the scriptural references and guidance revived & provided by Nithyananda University.  

CAN I GET INSURANCE EVEN IF NOT RECOGNIZED BY YOGA ALLIANCE? Yes, you can get insurance!

FAQ

Which City Should I Fly Into? Fly into Bengaluru International Airport (Bangalore) in the state of Karnataka. Note: Please enter your flight details in the travel planner link which will be sent to you. Please ensure this is done a few days prior to your flight departure date.  

How Do I Get to the Ashram From the Airport? You can either get the airport taxi yourself or request in the travel planner to be met at the airport (this is preferable if this is your first trip to India or the ashram). However, the simplest strategy is after collecting your luggage, go to the Airport Taxi kiosk right before exiting the airport hall and they can organize your ride to the Nithyananda Peetham with ease. Taxi fare is around 2,250 rupees, and takes between 2-2.5 hours to reach the ashram depending on the time of day and traffic.  

Will I Be Able to Check-in If I Arrive in the Middle of the Night? Yes, most of the international flights arrive late in the night or early in the morning. The Ashram will be prepared to receive you. It is, however, essential that you let us know of your flight plans before you take off so we will know when to expect you.  

Accommodation Shared rooms with attached bathroom are available. Accommodations are allotted on a first come first serve basis based on the date of full payment of program. Private rooms are not available. Accommodation for all participants is shared. In the shared rooms, there is an attached toilet and shower in each room. Your accommodation includes 1-nights stay the day before and 1-nights stay after the program.  

What Clothes to Bring

In adherence to the Ashram dress code and with respect to the Vedic culture, men and women participants are not to wear tank tops, tube tops, shorts and hot pants. Please also refrain from wearing scooped necklines, transparent or tight-fitting clothing. Please dress modestly in clothing that covers your shoulders, midriff and legs to the ankles. Despite the climatic demands, your co-operation and understanding in this matter is highly appreciated. For the male bodies, please bring a few pairs of short shorts for our Shivastambha Yoga sessions, as well as multiple black pants and t-shirts for the daily Yoga and Kundalini Rajju sessions. Please be sure that all clothes you bring for yoga are black; traditional Indian-clothes are white for satsang. 

Are Towels Provided? Towels are not provided. Please bring quick drying, thin towels.  

Where Do I Keep My Valuables? You may carry your valuables in a pouch / bag that is kept in your possession at all times and for which you are fully responsible or you can leave all your valuables in the safe provided in your hotel room. Standard sized suitcases can be stored under the bed. Please bring locks (combination or key locks) to lock your suitcases.  

What Type of Food to Expect During the Program? Pure organic Sattvic diets will be served during your stay. Indian Sattvic food is vegetarian food without onions, mushrooms or garlic. (Eggs and meat will not be served at any time). Note: If you require any special diet during the program, please let us know early by sending an e-mail to nithyayoga@gmail.com

Drinking Water Filtered water for refilling of water bottles is provided at all times. You are advised to bring a water bottle as it is highly recommended that you drink plenty of water!

Can I Bring My Electrical Appliances? You may bring electrical appliances like hair blow dryer, mobile phone chargers and other essentials. A voltage converter is needed to convert the power to 220 volts. A wall plug adapter appropriate for India is also needed. Please bring them with you.  

Can I Bring a Laptop or Tablet? Yes! Bringing your own laptop is actually recommended. You can use it during the course of the program. Make sure you bring a wall adapter plug. ***Wireless access to the internet is available.  

Will I Be Able to Make International Phone Calls A pay phone service is available for long distance and local calling whereby you pay per use (pay by cash), however, you can also make lon distance calls via a Skype account for free :) That being said, you will also have access to WiFi and can contact family & friends through devices connected to the internet: Facebook, WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom, etc.

Should I Bring My Own Mat? You can bring your own yoga mat if you like, but mats will also be made available!

Are There Supermarkets Close By? There is a convenience store onsite for basic amenities like shampoo, soap and snacks. Please bring your own supply if you are particular as there is limited choice.
